Keep Pressing On

Keep Pressing On

There is an expression used when we are in a situation and just don’t know what to do and I hear it quite often: “There’s a fork in the road and I don’t know what to do?” so if you have said that very same thing, I want you to know that God is saying to you: Keep Pressing On!

There are times where we will want to give up; but we must keep pressing on. There are times where we will not feel like doing the ‘right’ thing; but we must keep pressing on. There are times where we will feel that life is just too difficult; but we must keep pressing on. There are times where we will feel lonely; but we must keep pressing on. There are times where we will feel let down by others; but we must keep pressing on. No matter what the situation is we must keep pressing on! You may ask, WHY? Read this bible verse very carefully:

Philippians 3:12-14 (NIV) “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

No matter what is going on in my life, no matter how bad it gets I will keep pressing on until God calls me home. We all must make the best out of the time we have been given here and remember there is purpose in our life that God has given us and we must continue to press on for JESUS CHRIST. We cannot allow life to weigh us down and keep us down – NO! When we are knocked down, we must get up again and stand our ground because if we don’t the devil is and will be ready to step all over us!

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (CEV) “We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don’t know what to do, we never give up. In times of trouble, God is with us, and when we are knocked down, we get up again.”
